Q. What are the requirements for admission?
A. You need to complete your 12th grade or your O level to be eligible for admission.

Q. Do I need to know how to draw very well to successfully complete this course?
A. You do not need to be exceptionally good at drawing but a basic understanding of aesthetics and art would be beneficial

Q. What is the admission process?
A. Complete the application form and submit it with all the required information. You can obtain this admission form from PDC itself or you can download it from the Admission page on this website.

Q. What are the courses that you offer at Pearl?
A. At present, we offer an 18-month Diploma Program in Fashion Design & Clothing Technology (FDCT).

Q. What are your course timings?
A. The institute is open from 9 am to 5 pm, Saturday through Wednesday. Classes begin at 9 am.

Q. Are there any part time courses available?
A. Yes, we do have part time courses available. You will however ace to call the institute to enquire about the courses.

Q. Is transport provided?
A. Yes, transport is provided to & from Dubai, Sharjah & Ajman. (only for full-time students).

Q. Is PDC recognized by the Ministry of Education here in UAE?
A. Since we’re offering a Diploma program and not a degree program and since the diploma is issued by the Pearl Academy of Fashion, India, we do not come under the jurisdiction of Ministry of Education.

Q. What is the certificate I receive upon graduation?
A. Diploma in fashion Design & Clothing Technology issued by Pearl Academy of Fashion, India.

Q. What are the career options after graduation?
A. With a professional portfolio and experience in the industry, during the internship, you can choose to be a designer, fashion coordinator, visual merchandiser, buyer, fashion illustrator, analyst, critic, journalist or even a key member of a dynamic merchandising/product development team in a corporate office. You can also look at launching your own line of fashion products if you want to become an independent entrepreneur.
